Rob began life in Essex but grew up in deepest Kent. After a stint in the midlands, he returned to East London before moving out west. He is now to be found in Feltham, just a short hop down the M3 from Runnymede. He started his first music review blog over 20 years ago, way back in the early days of the internet, seeing countless up and coming bands in the backrooms of many a Camden pub. His musical tastes are varied but do often involve a lot of guitars.
After a break from writing to start a proper career in social housing, he evolved into theatre reviewing, which proved to be much kinder on the ears. That somehow led to taking on the reigns of Everything Theatre from its original creators in 2018. He now divides his spare time between music and theatre, although his knees arent what they use to be so he does nowadays avoid the mosh pit.
