Joni Mitchell, Nick Drake, iconic jazz musicians – the inspirations are immediately evident as the first notes soar out of London-hailed singer-songwriter Genevieve, but what she has carved out for herself, is utterly unique.

Classically trained in jazz, verses quiver with hair-raising emotion and controlled precision, but with innovative synth-folk production flourishes. This is not your average listen.

And for her brand new track “Dreams”, Genevieve explores the ups and downs of a challenging relationship trying to find balance – as dream-like longings shift focus into lucid reality. An apt song, reminiscent of tumultuous times experienced by many lovers right now.

And for the cinematic visuals, we see Genevieve take to London’s beloved Barbican for a juxtaposition of the building’s stark brutal architecture and the artist’s soft femininity.
